One Month Old

One Month Old!
Well, Callie it is so hard to believe that just one month ago you were still in my belly. We already feel like you have always been a part of our lives. Your daddy and I wondered how we could love another little one like we love your sweet brother, but we wonder no longer. We love you so much and you have found your own little piece of our hearts. We can't put into words the joy we had the day you were born and how much we have enjoyed having you in our
lives for the past month. Your first month was filled with lots of wonderful visitors who all showed us how much they love you already. You filled your days with lots and lots of sleep, eating and a few sweet awake moments. You have grown in the past month and have already out grown one of your little Newborn sleepers. You finally lost your embilical cord a few days before you were a month old. We were so glad to be able to give you a real bath. You loved it! You had many firsts. You went to the pool for the first time and cheered your brother on has he jumped of the diving board and swam like a fish. You also went to church and go to celebrate your great grandmothers 90 birthday. I want you to know how much your brother loves you. Every morning, the first thing he says is, "Mommy where are Callie?". He will go find you and shower you with his sweet kisses. Callie you are so loved and we can't wait to see what the rest of your life holds. We pray always for you and thank the Lord for blessing us with you! Happy One Month Old!

Several Posts

I have posted three posts today, so keep scrolling down to see them all! Hope you enjoy!

Carson's first day of school!

On Tuesday Carson started Mother's Day Out again. This year he is going on Tuesday and Thursday. He had a great first day and was so excited to be going back to school. Here are a few pictures I took of him

When I told Carson it was time to go he said "Mommy I ride my bike to school.". So, this is a picture of him riding his bike to school. His bike is his new best friend. He loves riding it all over the house.

This is a picture of Carson with his teacher, Ms. Laura at Meet the Teacher. She is wonderful and he loves her already. We couldn't ask for a better teacher.

This is Carson with his best bud Brynlee at Meet the Teacher. As you can tell, they are going to have a great time together in Mothers Day Out! What cuties!

It's Football Time!

We love football season around our house. This year Carson has really been excited about it starting! He couldn't wait till Coach's first game. At my dad's first game he surprised Carson with a team helmet. He was so excited! He wore it for the whole game and wears it around the house all the time. So cute! We had a great time at the game! Carson says he can't wait till he is in high school so he can wear real football pads. I think Mommy can wait though :)!

Carson and Coach with his new helmet!

I think it is as big as he is, but it doesn't bother him. Such a happy boy!

His two favorite things, football and suckers!

What handsome boys!!!!

This was Callie's first football game. She did great through the whole game. We were so glad to get to put our blue bow to use. Before she was born and I was making bows, Carson and I were at Hobby Lobby buying ribbon for bows. Carson picked up this blue ribbon and said "Mommy, Callie needs a blue bow.". So I couldn't resist his sweet request for his favorite color. I think she wears it well!

Hanging out with Nana. Look at those beautiful eyes! What a sweetie!

Carson's in Gymnastics

Carson started Gymnastics a couple of weeks ago. I thought it would be good for him to have something special for him to do. I wasn't sure how he would do or if he would like it, but he LOVES it! Here are some pictures from his first class. He is so proud of himself after his class. It is so cute. Sorry the pictures are really bad, but they were taken from upstairs and through a window.

Stretching at the beginning. Carson just set there and was taking it all in. We still haven't participated in the stretching part. He is just so busy looking at everything and watching everyone.

They got to run and jump on the smiley face then put their hands on the yellow block then jump off. He did so good at the jumping off part!

Carson loved the pit! He almost jumped in a few too many times.

I was so proud of how he would sit and wait his turn. Such a cutie and such a big boy!

Jumping on the trampoline. He really had to work hard to stay in the box. I think this was his favorite thing because he talks about it all the time.

Carson and Callie

Hello friends and family! Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks. Things have been busy around our house lately. It is so crazy to believe that Callie is almost one month old. Time seems to be flying by so fast. We can hardly remember what our lives were like before Callie was here. She has been such a sweet blessing to our lives. Carson has adjusted well and absolutely loves his baby sister! Callie has changed so much in the last few weeks. Thursday she weighed 7lbs and 12 oz. We are so glad she is back to her birth weight and can let her sleep at night (not that she is doing much of that now) :). She is beginning to stay awake a while and be more alert about her surroundings. Thought I would post a few pictures of her first few weeks. I plan on posting her birth pictures and story soon. I just don't have time to go through the 300 pictures we have of her first few days. Enjoy these pictures of our precious TWO children!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Carson and Callie. He is so in love with her and I think the smile proves it!

This was our fist night home as a family. It was such a sweet time! Carson sang "Jesus loves me to Callie". It made my heart swell with joy!

This was her before she went out on her first outing with me. We went to Chick-fil-A. I know she will love chicken biscuits soon enough!

These are pictures of Callie at one week old. I think the bow is as big as her! You know me and big bows! Got to love them!

This is Callie at two weeks old. We started seeing her eyes more this week, but not much! She still liked to sleep a lot!

Every morning for a week, when I would get Carson out of bed he would say "oh mommy! Baby Callie not in your belly anymore." It was priceless. Then we would have to go and find baby Callie. This is how we spend the first part of our mornings. Carson loves to lay with Callie and wake up. So precious!

We had lots of visitors once we got home. I didn't get pictures of many of them, but I did get this cute pictures of Callie's buddy Brinley. She is 2 months older than Callie and cute as a button. It was so good to see them and can't wait to have more play dates together.

This was Callie on her way to her first Bunco game. She was just two weeks old and sleep through the whole thing. Oh and I did win that night. I think she is my lucky charm!

Loved this face!

We were so lucky to have my Aunt come down and stay with us last week. What a huge help she was. Carson fell in love with his "Aunt Rain" (Lorraine). This is Callie and her hanging out while mommy got to get some stuff done. We were also able to have our first date while she was here. It was wonderful! We already miss her lots.

This is Callie and Phil. She was three weeks old this day. What a priceless moment for me to watch! I am so thankful to have the best husband and best daddy every. Couldn't do it without him.
I had been wanting to put Callie in this outfit for awhile. Carson can't wear yellow because it washes him out, but Callie has such dark skin and dark hair that I thought she would look good in yellow. I was right, she can pull it off good. What a cutie.

We took Callie to her first church service when she was just 1 1/2 weeks old. She did great, just sleep through the whole thing. After church we headed over to my Mamaw's house for her 90th birthday party. This was the first time for her to meet Callie. She fell in love!

Four generations of girls! My mamaw was so proud!

I promise to be better at posting. So check back soon!
